About the event
Exploring the Drive to Elbow Sand Hills and enjoy a great hike with us. We will park at the Douglas Provincial Park (park pass required), hike to the dunes, then return for a snack. At that point, we will hike south along the lakeside Trans Canada Trail for a total of about 16kms we've planned.
Hike to the Dunes along the Juniper and Cacti trails for approximately 4kms to the dunes
Enjoy the dunes!
Hike back to the campground along the Dunes trail for approximately 3kms
Have a break, enjoy a snack!
Hike along the lakeside via the Trans Canada trail approximately (the complete trail is 8km, so we likely will not do the complete trail but we'll enjoy some of it then head back to the campground)
