Day Hike - Day at Waskesui Trails

We’ll wind up the scenic highway for a morning hike at Shady Lake and a climb up the tower. After a midday lunch break in the Waskesiu townsite, we’ll finish the day exploring the boardwalks of Boundary Bog and the winding paths of Mud Creek before heading home.

Dust off your hiking boots and grab your gear! Our next adventure takes us north to the heart of Prince Albert National Park for a day of fresh forest air and scenic vistas. We’ll be taking the Scenic Highway (Hwy 263) on our way up, winding through the beautiful transition zones of the boreal forest before arriving at our first stops. This trip is designed for everyone—whether you’re a solo explorer, a family with energetic kids, or a group of friends looking to reconnect with nature. Even your four-legged companions are welcome to join the fun, provided they stay on a leash!
Our itinerary is packed with a few of the park's best hits! We’ll kick things off by descending down the Shady Lake trail and then climbing the Height-Of-Land Tower for a breathtaking panoramic view of the vast wilderness. After working up an appetite, we’ll head into the Waskesiu townsite for a group lunch…
